Birth Justice
A grassroots collaboration of reproductive justice advocates, educators, and birth workers. We seek to expand Birth Justice for the most at risk birthing people through direct service, advocacy, research, power-building, and cultural transformation.

Vision
Our vision is that Black mothers and birthing people, fathers, and partners are safe, honored, and respected throughout pregnancy and parenthood. We envision a community in which families celebrate life together, supported by diverse providers. Sustainable careers in the maternal and family health field provide culturally responsive support. The Black Futures Initiative for Perinatal Health sees the sacrality in birth revitalized by barriers eliminated through cultural and structural change in Oregon’s reproductive space.
